Today's Forecast

Perhaps some brighter spells at first this afternoon, then largely cloudy and breezy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Remaining mostly cloudy overnight, though some limited clearer spells at times, and RSTs remaining above freezing. Further rain and drizzle Sunday morning

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Sunday Sunday: Cloudy and breezy during Sunday afternoon, with outbreaks of mainly light rain. Turning drier overnight and into Monday morning, but a few wintry showers possible

Monday

Monday: Staying mostly dry with bright spells throughout, although a few wintry showers are likely. Cold with clear spells overnight and into Tuesday morning

Tuesday

and

Wednesday

Tuesday and Wednesday: Staying mainly dry and bright throughout but it will remain cold with the risk of isolated wintry showers continuing. Overnight mostly clear skies will allow for widespread frost.

Please note there is currently low confidence in this forecast period, with a low risk of some rain, sleet or snow pushing in from the south from Tuesday onwards. This would also bring cloudier conditions with the potential for slightly warmer RSTs overnight

Please Note: The colour code used for the headings for these forecast refer to the weather forecast and not the need to grit.

RED - The weather will cause road surface temperatures (RSTs) to fall or stay below zero.
AMBER - The weather may cause road surface temperatures (RSTs) to fall below zero.
GREEN - The weather will not cause road surface temperatures (RSTs) to fall below zero.
