To undertake the management of planned and reactive maintenance across the authorities and their clients portfolio of properties and provide specialist advice as required. To undertake management of minor project works from inception to completion.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) To be qualified in Building, Mechanical or Electrical Services

2) To manage property related planned and reactive maintenance across all disciplines, ensuring compliance to statutory and legislative requirements is maintained, using appointed supply chains. To monitor, supply chain activities and undertake audit inspections across all assets.

3) To provide specialist advice to clients, internal departments and external developers.

4) To undertake responsibility for programme delivery and monitoring.

To manage and develop contracts to ensure quality and value for money is achieved in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works, including construction related projects. To manage, lead and drive the Contract Monitoring team in setting standards and targets to achieve delivery in value and quality management for planned and reactive maintenance works ensuring transparency is demonstrated whilst achieving value for the authority and it’s clients.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) Working knowledge and substantial experience in production of outcome based specifications and their implementation.

2) Extensive knowledge and experience in public procurement regulations and European procurement legislation.

3) Experience in managing 3rd party contractor performance and monitoring including KPI setting.

4) Experience in performance management of teams and day to day team management.

To manage a commercial property repairs and maintenance teams in delivery of building, mechanical, electrical and lift services. To lead and drive the team in delivery of planned and reactive maintenance ensuring all Health and Safety related issues are addressed whilst achieving client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) To manage and drive a multi-disciplined maintenance team in delivery of service

2) To provide specialist advice in delivery of service across Building, Mechanical and electrical services.

3) To manage 3rd party maintenance contractors ensuring all delivery are in accordance to specifications and set KPI's

4) Project manage the maintenance service delivery and construction related projects
