Work as part of a team, taking lead responsibility for the design of electrical services, delivering creative solutions across a wide range of property related projects. Key duties include; preparation of designs for electrical services installations (including but not limited to Electrical Circuit Design, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Installations and Security systems, and CCTV) from initial brief to handover for all types of projects; carrying out of condition surveys; Preparation of specifications and tender contract documentation; Preparation of estimate, bill of quantities tender and quotation invitations; Supervision of, and providing advice to other professional and technical staff and clients as appropriate; act as project leader and Principal Designer under CDM 2015, as necessary.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrate experience of successful delivery of construction related electrical services projects within a complex operating environment, including responsibilities for CDM and all Health and Safety issues.

• BTEC, HNC/HND in Electrical Services Engineering, equivalent or greater.

• Knowledge of computers and relevant building services design software applications, with the ability to undertake Electrical design and produce CAD drawings and relevant calculations.

• Experience of Electrical Services defects diagnosis/analysis and offer cost effective solutions for remedies as appropriate.

Key duties include; preparation of designs for mechanical services installations (including but not limited to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Hot and cold services) from initial brief to handover for all types of projects; carrying out of condition surveys; Preparation of specifications and tender contract documentation; Preparation of estimate, bill of quantities tender and quotation invitations; Supervision of, and providing advice to other professional and technical staff and clients as appropriate; act as project leader and Principal Designer under CDM 2015, as necessary.
