Key responsibilities of the role include: • Leading and managing the planning, coordination, delivery of a Citywide CAHMS team • Managing the practitioners responsible for ensuring positive mental health and wellbeing for vulnerable children, young people and their families • Promoting high standards of practice in safeguarding, management of risk, and effective interventions through a robust performance management framework You will hold a relevant degree in mental health and/or equivalent professional qualification, such as social worker/teacher or a nurse, along with the ability to demonstrate your knowledge and skills in therapeutic casework. Your experience should include implementation of evidence based practice to lead and drive a high performing and highly motivated team. As an experienced manager, you will receive a salary of £40,217 per annum (£40,217-£43,874). In addition you will have the benefit from supportive and proactive management and a genuine commitment to you and your career development with a clearly defined career path.
