Could you foster a teenager?
Nottingham City Council foster carer Nikki Parker currently
looks after two teenage boys. She says; “It’s 24/7. People who have had
teenagers will know that they are a breed apart, they’re finding who they are
and they are very challenging but they need people to take them on and look
after them and turn their lives around.”
To find out more come along to one of our free and informal information evenings
which are held monthly at Loxley House NG2 3NG. You don’t
need to live in Nottingham city to foster for us and
there’s no obligation to sign up at the events.
The next evening meeting takes place on 10 February 2016
from 7 to 9pm and places can be booked by calling 0115 876 3335 orbyvisiting www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/foster.
This month, join Gareth Davies from Trent and Peak Archaeology as he gives an illustrated talk including recent community excavations as well as an inside look at recent excavations undertaken as part of the construction of the tram network.
