    INTERREG VB North Sea Region Programme 2014-2020

    Funding is available for transnational cooperation projects in the North Sea Region. The aim is to tackle joint challenges, pool expertise and build lasting links between businesses and institutions throughout the region.

    The main areas of shared interest among the countries participating in the programme are:

    • Innovation support (knowledge transfer, product development etc)
    • Sustainable growth (energy, environment and climate change)
    • Maritime sector
    • Smart specialisation and clustering

    Urban Innovative Actions

    The 1st Call for Proposals of the Urban Innovative Actions Initiative is open until 31st March 2016.

    The main objective of the 1st Call for Proposals is to select projects testing bold and unproven ideas on the following topics:

    Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships

    This call is open until 31 March 2016. There are two types of project: school-only, and between schools and organisations active in school education. More information is on our apply for funding webpage

    Creative Europe - MEDIA - Development of video games

    Funding is still available for European production companies with proven experience and interested in developing a video game concept or project presenting:

    • Originality, innovative and creative value
    • Commercial ambition and extensive cross-border potential
    • Concept and project development of commercial video games

    Europe for Citizens

    Calls for the 2 strands of the Europe for Citizens programme are still open.

    Strand 1: European Remembrance

    Strand 2: Democratic engagement and civic participation

    ERA-NET Cofund Smart Urban Futures

    The call is still open for cities and civil society in Europe to address urgent and long-term challenges by co-creating ideas and projects.

    Three call topics have been identified:

    • Concepts and strategies for smart urban transformation, growth and shrinkage
    • New dynamics of public services
    • Inclusive, vibrant and accessible urban communities

    Each project proposal must be submitted by a project consortium consisting of at least three eligible applicants from at least three participating countries.

    Pre-proposal deadline is mid March with a full proposal deadline of September 2016.
