Light Night is this Friday, Celebrate National Libraries Day on 6 Feb, and free fun day.

Get ready for Light Night!

Friday 5 February 4pm till late

Robin Hood Energy sponsors Light Night, an annual night of fun and entertainment in Nottingham city centre with over 50 FREE events to choose from! Including - 

    • FREE entry to Nottingham Castle and Brewhouse Yard, with live music and free activities
    • High Pavement will be closed to traffic to allow people to enjoy the illumination of the Galleries of Justice, which will host a Light Night food, drink and craft market and entertainment including live music, plus free Sheriff’s walking tours
    • A City of Miracles themed evening at Nottingham Contemporary, I Believe In Miracles Director Jonny Owen and a selection of players from Forest's double European Cup winning triumph will be on hand for a meet and greet, plus fans can pose for a photo with the European Cup
    • The City of Football team will also be in the Old Market Square for an evening of free light up football fun, including the chance to see keepie-uppie world-record holder  Dan Magness showing off his skills

    See the Lacock Cup at Nottingham Castle

    Dating from the 15th Century, the Lacock Cup is an extremely rare silver feasting cup. The cup will be shown with a small collection of related items. 

    Pop in to Nottingham Castle for Light Night (5 February from 6pm) for your chance to see the cup with FREE entry while it's on loan from the British Museum.
