To provide specialist advice on the management, maintenance and design for passenger and goods Lifts across the authorities’ portfolio of properties.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1) To provide specialist advice on the strategic plan towards on-going maintenance, design and use of passenger and goods Lifts in the authorities’ portfolio
2) To manage and maintain the lift assets, powered doors and gates, using appointed supply chains across the authorities’ portfolio.  To maintain compliance and monitor supply chain activities and LOLER inspections across all assets
3) To provide specialist advice to internal and external developers including bespoke design on passenger and goods lifts within the authorities properties
4) To undertake inspections, surveys and maintenance regimes on the authorities Lift and powered gates and doors assets

This post requires a standard DBS Check

Needs to be able to travel between sites.  Ability to climb ladders scaffolding and access restricted places.   Must be able to work on own initiative.  To be fully conversant with H & S requirements attaining to specialism.
