Dry with variable amounts of cloud and bright or sunny spells this afternoon. Cloud will thicken by this evening with one or two showers developing from 1700, then a band of persistent rain arriving from the west from 1900. The rain will turn lighter and patchier from 2100 but will continue at times overnight, with mist and low cloud forming. Becoming drier by dawn but staying rather cloudy through Sunday morning. |

Cloudy and very windy during Tuesday with rain spreading east during the evening. This will continue overnight and during Wednesday, before clearing south overnight into Thursday. Temperatures remaining above freezing both nights, though slightly cooler Wednesday night after clearance of rain. |
