 Full Time and Part Hours available  

To investigate and respond to queries in relation to Penalty Charge and Fixed Penalty Notices either by telephone or in writing including preparing criminal prosecution files and case histories.  Present evidence in person at Traffic Penalty Tribunal hearings or give evidence in court as appropriate.

Liaise with relevant officers in respect of witness statements and verify accuracy of details of PCN/FPN's to enforce payment.  Carrying out cash receipting and banking of monies received.

To work as part of a team putting team preferences before own. Working in a confidential environment .To be able to learn about a subject in a short period of time from a position of zero knowledge.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to communicate to a high standard both verbally and in writing dealing with contentious issues and  irate citizens
2. Good IT skills and the ability to quickly learn how to use specialist in house software
3. Ability to work on own personal initiative and with minimum supervision working accurately to meet deadlines
4. Strong self-motivation together with a flexible and committed approach to work

Nottingham City Council is seeking to recruit to a number of new positions in Catering and Cleaning services. The FM Team Leader roles will form the first line management for 900 frontline cleaners and catering staff across 177 sites in Nottingham. They will also provide a contract management role for our clients for the full suite of Facilities Management services we deliver including, catering, cleaning, waste management, grounds maintenance, window cleaning, PAT testing and pest control.
The role will require flexibility in hours of work and the ability to regularly travel between sites. Access to company vehicles will be provided and we are committed to supporting colleagues maintain a healthy work/life balance.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing frontline staff and delivering services to clients. They will have the skills and aptitudes to build strong relationships with clients and be able to identify, understand and deliver against client requirements

The positions require a high level of technical competence in catering or cleaning services and in financial management, however, a comprehensive training programme will be delivered to help the candidates with the right attributes reach their full potential in the role
