Today's Forecast

Dry with some bright spells this afternoon. Overnight, it will gradually become cloudier but it will stay mainly dry with RSTs falling close to or just below freezing. The cloud may become thick enough towards the end of the night to produce one or two very light flurries of sleet or snow, which could continue into Monday morning (see snow summary).

Outlook for the next four days (forecasts run from midday to midday)
Monday Largely cloudy and cold though turning clearer into the evening. Skies remaining clear overnight and RSTs falling below freezing and frost forming. Sunny Tuesday morning

   Tuesday

Dry and sunny during the day. Clear skies into the evening and overnight allowing RSTs to fall below freezing and frost form once again.

Wednesday

and

 Thursday

Dry and clear through Wednesday, turning cloudier and windier during Thursday with outbreaks of rain possible overnight, then persistent rain (and perhaps sleet and snow) during Friday morning. RSTs below freezing both nights, with frost/ice likely, though RSTs perhaps recovering during Friday morning as rain pushes in.
NOTE: There is still some uncertainty regarding the return to milder conditions towards the end of the period.

Please Note: The colour code used for the headings for these forecast refer to the weather forecast and not the need to grit.

RED - The weather will cause road surface temperatures (RSTs) to fall or stay below zero.
AMBER - The weather may cause road surface temperatures (RSTs) to fall below zero.
