Fixed Term for 12 months plus

The Learning & Development Consultant will be responsible for supporting the development, skills and training of the Nottingham City Council workforce (predominantly Managers and Leaders) in order for the council to achieve its strategic objectives

You will consult with managers, Heads of Service and Directors to; fully understand business needs; design and deliver professional Organisational Transformation interventions (projects); advise on stakeholder management; and evaluate results - enabling those leaders to achieve their organisational objectives and improve services provided to the citizens of Nottingham.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. To advise managers / leaders on development solutions and facilitate events for these teams.

2. To build the capacity of Leadership teams through the delivery of team development interventions, aimed at improving team performance.

3. To conduct training needs analysis and competency audits in order to identify group and individual needs.

4. To lead imaginative learning activities for the Managers / Leadership groups and individuals, including Action Learning Sets and individual coaching.
