Today's Forecast

Some bright spells at first but turning cloudier from the west through the afternoon with isolated showers from 1500 onwards and after dusk becoming more frequent perhaps with a wintry element of sleet or soft hail but no settling expected. Near the end of the night some some RSTs to dip close to zero. Thursday morning further showers some wintry and sometimes merging to rain and feeling cold in brisk northwesterly winds .

Thursday Windy, with any early rain, sleet or snow soon clearing during the early afternoon on Thursday and lengthy sunny spells developing. Dry, cold and clear overnight with a widespread early frost developing as winds ease. Dry and largely sunny on Friday morning..

Dry and sunny on Friday afternoon, but remaining breezy. Cold and clear overnight with a widespread early frost developing. Turning cloudier on Saturday morning.

Scattered sleet or snow showers with sunny intervals on Saturday afternoon. Some accumulations possible. Similar overnight with a widespread frost expected. Becoming dry and sunny on Sunday as the winds ease. Clear and very cold overnight with a widespread, locally severe frost developing. Localised freezing fog patches may also develop on Sunday night into Monday morning in prone low-lying areas. Fine and dry on Monday morning.
