This two part course aims to support you with supporting the children to progress through the different stages of Literacy using fun and exciting techniques
The Phonics workshop aims to help you understand how to teach the key skills of blending and segmenting. Subject knowledge and practical suggestions are just some of the ways the session looks to enhance your knowledge of phonics and help with implementing new ideas.
During this session you will have ideas and suggestions around how children in Year 1 can apply their phonics. The aim is to understand of the Year 1 phonics check.

mathematics fun. We have incorporated new developments to make the teaching of
this subject active and challenging for both you and the children.
