Fixed Term for 2 years 

Experienced in using a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable customer insights to support the development of high quality, customer focused online services. You will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on evidence. You will need to be confident in explaining user needs to colleagues at all levels, and for acting as a advocate for those needs both within the team and the council at large. You will also be comfortable working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation. 

Essential Requirements

-       Lead the usability discovery process from developing user requirement briefs, through to testing and analysing services at beta and live development phases.

-       Planning, designing and conducting usability testing sessions with citizens to ensure that our website and online services meet the needs of the user.

-       Proactively use a range of tools and face to face activities to test the user experience of new and existing online services to support an iterative development process.

-       Designing, scripting and analysing ad-hoc quantitative surveys to measure customer satisfaction
