Nottingham's Winter Wonderland in the Old Market Square runs until 3 January - book your ice skating place now.

Entertain the kids over the Christmas holidays with a winter snowflake trail in the gardens of Wollaton Hall.

There's still time to book for Panto - Dick Whittington at Nottingham Playhouse runs until 16 January, Neverland at Nottingham Lakeside Arts runs until 31 December, and Aladdin at Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall runs until 10 January.

New Year's Eve at Nottingham Castle From 8pm, Thursday 31 December, FREE entry Join us at Nottingham Castle for a fun New Year's Eve, with fireworks, life music and food and drink.
