To hold a managable case-load of complex presentaitons such as self-harm, eating distress, anxiety, suicidal behaviours. To support the service SPA (Single Point of Access), screening and making decisions on appropriate interventions. To offer CAMHS Consultations to the wider network. To complete risk assessments as part of the Social Care & CAMHS Joint Protocol. To share good practice and consultation to other CAMHS Practitioners. To identify and manage safeguarding concerns and act appropriately. To have a good knowledge of the Mental Health Act and use this appropriately. To complete joint assessments with Specialist CAMHS. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - Hold a core qualification as a registered health profession such as a high intensity therapist, cognitive behaviour therapist, clinical psychologist or a psychotherapist. - Experience of working within a Specialist CAMH Service clinical setting is essential. - Provide specialist assessment and therapy service to children with moderate to complex psychological problems referred into CAMHS. - Ensure clinical interventions are implemented in line with the latest NICE guidelines for psychological interventions. It is expected that you will have the capacity to work across various city locations. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check with children's barring list check (regulated activity with children).
