Early shift starting at 6.30am, late shift finishing at 6.30pm

To observe and record traffic (contraventions) using CCTV and other electronic equipment.

To deal with a wide range of issues relating to traffic management, traffic regulation orders and legislation covering enforcement of both movement and static restrictions.

To work on own initiative in organising and proritising workload to meet specific targets and deadlines.

To work effectively as part of a team.

To produce and present supporting evidence at appeal hearings in relation to Civil Enforcement Contraventions in accordance with legislation.

Carry out audits of equipment and on street infrastruture ensuring restrictions remain enforceable.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 - Experience of relevant ITC applications including word processing, speradsheets and databases.

 - To effectively deal with a variety of enquiries or complaints received by telephone, letter, e mail or in person from Elected Members, the general public or other organisations.

 - Experience of data collection and dissemintation via electronic means.

 - To make own decisions when approprite.
