Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop - opening 28 Nov

A new plant shop is opening at Nottingham City Council’s Nursery at Woodthorpe Park - home of award-winning Nottingham in Bloom.

The new shop building is under construction and the doors will open on Saturday 28 November, with special offers for the opening weekend.

The shop will be packed full of plants, Christmas greenery and gift ideas. Come and have a look round anytime from 9am to 3pm every day until Wednesday 23 December.

The shop team of Sandor, Catherine and Ross along with their colleagues at the Nursery are busy growing and creating beautiful products. Come along and see our Nottingham-grown Poinsettia and Cyclamen and discover our new gift ranges.

Our friendly staff will be pleased to give advice on your purchases and on the long-term care of your plants.

Top quality Christmas trees

Christmas trees are now available to order from Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop. Top quality freshly-cut Nordmann trees with non-drop needles can be ordered online ready for collection from the shop. Prices start from just £32.

Festive Family Fun

Bring all the family to Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop and Nursery on Saturday 12 December for a day of festive fun! Music, crafts, Santa and more from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Entry is free. Look out for more details soon.

A taste of summer!

During your shopping trip, take a few minutes to look round the Tropical House, for a taste of summer on a winter’s day. Look out for coffee beans, bananas and lemons growing! The Tropical House is sponsored by Hollies Day Nurseries, who bring their children for regular outings.

Take time to discover Woodthorpe Park, one of the city’s 22 award-winning Green Flag sites. Enjoy a game of pitch and putt, visit the café, admire the mosaics, discover the park’s heritage and find the train sculpture at the entrance to the old railway tunnel.
