We have a variety of jobs available from 18.5 hours - 37 hours

  1. To ensure the delivery of appropriate services to adults and their families, according to their assessed needs. This will include assessing the needs of adults and their carers against the Department’s agreed eligibility criteria and in accordance with National Performance Indicators within set timescales and the creation and implementation of culturally appropriate care plans that demonstrate flexibility and innovative use of resources.
  2. To deliver good outcomes for adults through completing timely assessments and implementing effective care plans that safeguard vulnerable adults.
  3. Following the successful completion of the probationary period, under supervision, to undertake adult safeguarding investigations and provide reports to safeguarding strategy meetings or review meetings as required.
  4. To undertake case management responsibilities that include adult-focused assessments of need within a person centred approach, monitoring, co-ordinating and review of care plans.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

 -  CQSW/ CSS/ Dip SW, Degree Qualification-

-  Experience of working in a social care setting

-  Knowledge of relevant social care legislation & Government Guidance 

-  Understanding of the Council’s responsibility to citizens

Enhanced DBS Check with Children & Adults Barring List Check (regulated activity with Children & Adults)

Salary - MPS/UPS/TLR2 commensurate with experience

Fixed-Term - Currently until March 2017 - would consider a secondment

Full Time – Term Time 

To be part of a team working in schools and settings across the City with children and young people who are experiencing behavioural, emotional and social difficulties across all key stages. However our work currently is mainly primary with a specific emphasis on F/KS1. Recent experience in a Primary setting is essential. To support whole school development work, through delivery of training, to build capacity within schools. To safeguard CYP through the CAF/M.A. process. To contribute to the identification and sharing of good practice across City schools and within children’s services. To contribute to LA systems and protocols to support effective intervention. Will consider a secondment and also unqualified teacher. 

Essential Requirements 

 - Teaching qualification (but will consider appointing as unqualified if all other requirements on the Person Specification can be met)

 - Classroom teaching of young people across key stages but particularly F/KS1

 - Working with young people who demonstrate challenging behaviour and to collaborate with other agencies/ professionals to support the CYP's

 - Leading a project, intervention, subject area, activity etc. involving the co-ordination of a number of contributors. Experience of line management would be desirable

Ensuring that all toilet areas within the premises are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

The toilets to be cleaned are used by the general public, market traders and Nottingham City Council colleagues.

Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to using safe working practices whilst carrying out these duties.

General cleaning duties in the Markets office.

Contribute to providing a responsive service to the Service user – general public and market traders.

Completion of daily work sheets to be examined by a Supervising Officer

The role requires the individual to have strong customer services skills ensuring they balance dealing with queries with ensuring the toilets are maintained to a good standard.
