FREE Bonfire Night Celebration
Join us at Nottingham's biggest FREE Bonfire Night celebration, taking place this Thursday 5 November at the Forest Recreation Ground from 5:30pm. Enjoy fireworks, a traditional bonfire, and a funfair too.
Why not catch the tram for the easiest journey - simply get off at The Forest stop.
An amazing day of author talks, workshops and discussions to celebrate Readers' Day! Come along and hear from authors including Orange prize-winner Linda Grant and Judith Allnatt.
Never visited Nottingham's own inner-city windmill? Now's the perfect time!
Visit the Autumn Fair, with stalls selling arts and crafts, textiles, gifts and local produce. Plus, climb the windmill and see the breathtaking views across the city.
Entry is FREE and the fair runs 11am - 3pm.

Remembrance Day Activities
8 November: Nottingham's annual Civic Service of Remembrance will take place at the War Memorial, Victoria Embankment on Sunday 8 November, starting at 10:45am. Members of the public wishing to attend the Service are invited to come along to the War Memorial for 10.30am.
11 November: Representatives of the Royal British Legion, together with the Lord Mayor and Sheriff will gather for the two minute silence on Wednesday 11 November at 11am in front of the Council House. Members of the public are also welcome to come along.

iRights Youth Juries: promoting digital rights: Saturday 7 Nov at the Galleries of Justice FREE
This free, public event is for parents, teachers and all who are concerned about digital rights, including issues like social media, cyber bullying and data privacy.
Last Call at the Oasis film screening/discussion: Monday 9 Nov at University ParkFREE
This event, in collaboration with the Papplewick Pumping Station Trust, features a showing of the powerful documentary ‘Last call at the Oasis’, which brings into focus water sustainability issues, followed by a discussion.
At performances of Dick Whittington, look out for collections for our Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a charity which provides a free book every month, to every child in Nottingham during their first five years.
