16 hours per week - Monday - 5 hours, Wednesday - 5 hours and Friday – 6 hours with a degree of flexibility To provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens in a way that maintains their dignity, maximises independence and gives them choice and control over the way their care is provided including providing mobility assistance where required. This may mean using a hoist, manual handling equipment. You will undertake personal care tasks in a respectful caring manner, while realising the need for citizens to maintain their dignity. Multisystemic Therapy is an evidenced based intervention which is community based and directed at older children, teenagers and their families. The approach is targeted at those families in which the young person is at risk of coming into care or custody and aims to prevent family breakdown, reduce offending and improve educational outcomes. You will supervise a team of four therapists providing MST. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the MST programme, both locally and nationally and add to the continuing development of Evidence Based Programmes across England. Duties include liaison with key collaborating agencies, ensuring fidelity to the MST model, providing ongoing evaluation and staff development for therapists, interfacing with MST expert consultants and providing overall programme management of the MST team. You must be available to be part of an on call rota to support therapists implementing MST 24-hours per day, 7 days per week alongside other agency supervisory staff. Specific experience in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Structural / Strategic Family Therapy and other behaviourally focused evidence based interventions. Significant clinical supervisory-level experience preferred. You will have a post-graduate qualification in psychology or other allied registered profession e.g. Social work, mental health nursing or equivalent Ongoing Personal and Professional Development Full training and continuous professional development in the MST model will be provided. There will be close links with other MST teams nationally for advice and support and regular booster training sessions. There is also an MST consultant that provides ongoing skills training and consultation to the team.
