Get your tickets for the Robin Hood Pageant! 23 - 25 October
Pay a visit to the Robin Hood Pageant at Nottingham Castle this autumn! Travel back in time to experience life in a medieval village, as Robin Hood and his merry men clash with the Sheriff of Nottingham and his forces.
There's SO much to see and do for everyone, including jousting, living history demonstrations, falconry displays, having a drink in the medieval alehouse, have a go at archery, and meeting medieval characters including alchemists and minstrels!
Young Author's Extravaganza at Nottingham Central Library: Saturday 17 October
Want to meet your favourite authors and discover new ones? Over 30 authors of young adult books will be at our event, including Children's Laureate Chris Riddell!
Readers will be able to be watch quick-fire panels, chat to authors face-to face, get books signed, grab some swag and eat some cake!
Nottingham holds its first ever Robin Hood Week from 16 October. It's great timing for half-term - there will be Robin themed fun in libraries, and a whole programme of FREE interactive entertainment coming to the Old Market Square, including medieval street theatre, the chance to meet Robin Hood, combat displays, and medieval justice!

The Escher String Quartet has
received acclaim for its profound and beautiful music. The
quartet was a BBC New Generation Artist from 2010-2012, giving debuts at both

FREE Inclosure Act Celebration - Sunday 18 Oct at the Forest Recreation Ground - An afternoon of activities to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the act, and the Forest. See the procession and dancing of the Sheffield City Giants, and enjoy an exhibition in the pavilion about the history of the Forest.
FREE Apprenticeship Fair - Thursday, October 15 between 1pm and 3pm at Loxley House
Young people looking for work and apprenticeships have the opportunity to meet with potential employers next week at a FREE fair at Loxley House on Station Street.
The Nottingham Apprenticeship Fair is aimed at 16 to 24-year-olds considering their next career move, and will bring together training providers, employers with vacancies to fill, advice on applications, apprenticeships and a number of schemes to support young people into work.
