Fixed Term for 12 months

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, proactive, has lots of initiative and ideally has experience of working with businesses/service providers. As a Market Development Specialist, you will need to apply these skills to help develop providers in the city so they are best placed to deliver modern, high quality and citizen focussed services to help Nottingham’s most vulnerable children, adults and families.
A key part of your role will be developing new social care markets in the city. This will require you to identify new and innovative market solutions, and to work with commissioners, partners and service providers to fully exploit these opportunities for the benefit of the people of Nottingham

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- To develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal commissioners and external service providers.
- You will need to have knowledge or experience in facilitating the development of new or enhanced service models;
- Be able to develop clear business plans;
- Provide support to enable services to become self-sustaining;
