Fixed term until 30th March 2017

The post holder will be part of the Nottingham Jobs Team providing a tailored recruitment service to Nottingham employers and co-ordinating specific training and job opportunities for local residents, particularly those who are furthest from the labour market.
In addition, the postholder will have a particular focus on stimulating demand for Apprenticeships from Nottingham employers, increasing the number of Apprenticeship vacancies and the uptake of these vacancies by City residents

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- To proactively identify and engage employers not previously working with the Nottingham Jobs service with a view to increasing the number of jobs and apprenticeships offered by local employers and secured by Nottingham residents.
- To proactively market the Nottingham Jobs Pledge to employers.
- To work directly with employers to develop robust recruitment plans, and provide expert advice on the delivery options available to meet their needs.
- To develop bespoke projects to drive up apprenticeships, graduate retention and recruitment of specific target groups into local opportunities.
