Go Low Nottingham

We are bidding for a share of £35 million worth of Government funding after making the shortlist to become one of the UK's first Go Ultra Low Cities.

You can support our bid by following our activity on social media and using the hashtag #GoLowNottm.

Find out more about our Go Ultra Low ambitions and download our bid on our website.

Southern Cycle Corridor

We have reviewed the route and identified areas/gaps that we feel need further improvements, to create a really high quality cycle corridor. However, prior to these plans becoming available for formal consultation in late 2015 we would like to hear from you if you are familiar with the route and know of any issues you think we should be made aware of to be considered at this stage.

If you would like to contribute please email cyclecity@nottinghamcity.gov.uk.

National Transport Awards

We were shortlisted for Transport Local Authority of the Year, Contribution to Sustainable Transport and Transport Team/Partnership of the year with our Partners Sustrans at last nights National Transprt Awards. We were pipped to the post for all three but received a highly commended award for our electric bus project which we are delighted about.

UK Bus Awards

Whats better, we're also shortlisted for our electric bus project in the 2015 UK Bus Awards to be presented in November - watch this space for news on if we're successful!

Cycling for All

The next Cycling for All event is down at Queen's Drive Park and Ride on the 18th October 2015.

RideWise, the Nottingham based cycling charity, carries out the events with the aim of inspiring more people to give cycling a go, no matter what their ability.
