As Nottingham people prepare to welcome refugees following the recent government announcement, more foster carers will be needed to care for unaccompanied children arriving here in response to the Syria crisis.
Foster carers will be able to provide care and nurture for vulnerable young children brought in to the UK as they already do for many children in need here.

Nottingham City Council is teaming up with Capital FM to run another school attendance marketing campaign this autumn term.
Last year this made a huge difference to the schools who took part, increasing attendance by an average of 2% and adding an additional 5,661 school days over the term.

The 1.5km closed road cycling circuit at the recently opened Harvey Hadden Sports Village in Nottingham has been welcomed by British Cycling.
