21 hours temporary for 3 months, 8.00am-3.30pm Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursday (COM0765)

6 hours permanent Mondays 3.00pm-9.00pm (COM0775)

The Sport and Leisure Service require enthusiastic and customer focused individuals to join the team at the Customer Contact Centre located at The Nottingham Tennis Centre. You will ensure a high quality first point of contact is provided for citizens and members of the general public for all telephone, e-mail and written enquiries directed to the Sport and Leisure Service. You will be confident in the use of IT based systems, telephony and office equipment and have a passion for delivering great customer service.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to assist in resolving and monitoring non-complex customer queries or complaints.

- Ability to search IT and manual information systems, to provide information and resolve customer requests.

- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines, in a fast moving environment

- Ability to work well as a member of a team, and on own initiative.

To work and lead the implementation of the EYFS as part of a team, mainly within schools and other early years settings. To inform senior leaders of national/local policy changes. To monitor and evaluate the quality of data in relation to children's outcomes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues relating to early years, including latest inspection results and research findings.

- Qualified teacher status.

- Experience of observing and evaluating teacher quality and providing feedback.

- Consultative style, working to develop and maintain effective relationships, internally and externally, ensuring key stakeholders are appropriately informed of relevant issues.

Whilst based at Loxley House, the post-holder will spend a significant amount of time in schools and settings city wide.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 30th September 2015 and interviews will be Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th October 2015.

Ensuring that all toilet areas within the premises are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

The toilets to be cleaned are used by the general public, market traders and Nottingham City Council colleagues.

Ensuring Health and Safety legislation is adhered to using safe working practices whilst carrying out these duties.

General cleaning duties in the Markets office.

Contribute to providing a responsive service to the Service user – general public and market traders.

Completion of daily work sheets to be examined by a Supervising Officer

The role requires the individual to have strong customer services skills ensuring they balance dealing with queries with ensuring the toilets are maintained to a good standard.
