ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 1.Ability to work with contractors/specialists for the repair and maintenance of complex historic structures, equipment and moving machinery. 2.Experience of working at a supervisory level, with experience of delivering a range of building functions. 3.Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and site security. 4.Experience and working knowledge of mill and milling. As a Community Protection Officer - Traffic you will perform a unique and innovative role within Parking Enforcement.. As a CPO Traffic, each day is different to the one before. This isn’t a desk job; you will spend 85% of your time out on the streets , maintaining the flow of traffic and reducing incidents of inconsiderate or dangerous parking, by enforcing the parking regulations set out in the Traffic Management Act 2004. You will assist customers and members of the public , acting as a capable guardian of the City. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to deal with contentious enforcement situations tactfully and diplomatically. - Ability to use initiative with minimum supervision and respond to urgent situations often being the first officer on scene. - Communication skills, including the ability to listen, empathise, negotiate and be assertive. - Ability to keep manual and computerised records that may be produced in TPT or court proceedings. - Valid driving licence The recruitment process will be in three parts - 1.
