To work independently, under the general direction of the City Manager, to provide caseload and developmental supervision, support, advice and mentoring to colleagues to achieve and sustain high standards of performance, quality and customer service. The Senior Community Care Officer will also carry an appropriate caseload. The Senior Community Care Officer will have a key role in achieving and sustaining high standards of performance, quality and customer service, and improving the quality and throughput of assessments and reviews, for adult social care services. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge and understanding of relevant key policies, procedures, processes, best practice, drivers and legislation in relation to the duties of the post Substantial experience of working with adults in a social care/Health/voluntary sector setting.
