The Collections Access Assistant will support the Museum Registrar in the documentation and auditing of collections, the development of the Registry and Archives and the creation of digital content. The post involves close liaison with other staff in the Service to support the effective storage and display of collections. In addition the post-holder will facilitate access to collections information by the general ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS The applicant should be able to demonstrate: - A relevant professional qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience of museum documentation including procedures, audits and report writing. - A sound knowledge of ICT including databases, (the museum uses Access, Word, and Excel); e mail and digital imaging. - Attention to detail in tasks undertaken and a creative approach to problem solving. - An ability to communicate effectively in writing, face to face and by telephone plus efficient planning of work and effective time management skills. To support the service SPA (Single Point of Access), screening and making decisions on appropriate interventions. To offer CAMHS Consultations to the wider network. To complete risk assessments as part of the Social Care & CAMHS Joint Protocol. To share good practice and consultation to other CAMHS Practitioners. To identify and manage safeguarding concerns and act appropriately. To have a good knowledge of the Mental Health Act and use this appropriately. To complete joint assessments with Specialist CAMHS. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - Hold a core qualification as a registered health profession such as a high intensity therapist, cognitive behaviour therapist, clinical psychologist or a psychotherapist. - Experience of working within a Specialist CAMH Service clinical setting is essential. - Provide specialist assessment and therapy service to children with moderate to complex psychological problems referred into CAMHS. - Ensure clinical interventions are implemented in line with the latest NICE guidelines for psychological interventions. It is expected that you will have the capacity to work across various city locations.
