Libraries and galleries are perfect places for finding things out, exploring ideas, learning new things, and for taking time out. The Look Up project helps people in Nottingham who are looking for work by offering participants a fresh perspective on how they view themselves and their futures.
This exhibition, Journeys of Ideas, at Nottingham Central Library offers a glimpse of what’s taken place so far this year during two Look Up courses. The exhibition will be up until the end of August.

Turning 'ages: installation by Elaine Robinson
Don't miss! Turning 'ages - a stunning library installation by artist Elaine Robinson. Created in 2012, it comments on our relationship with books and libraries as well as our connection with the written word.
The piece highlights the intimate and complex relationship between people, books and the everyday objects left forgotten or misplaced between a book's pages in the course of its owners’ lives.
