The Marketing Assistant will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual keen to play a role in building on the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall’s current successes.

With experience of the marketing mix, and a strong attention to detail, their focus will be to assist with the implementation of TRCH marketing activities. Working closely with the Marketing Officers - and the Marketing and Development team – the incumbent will work on individual show campaigns and tasks including - but not exclusive to - proof reading brochures, leaflets, posters, e-shots; co-ordinating print distribution; producing direct mail letters; sourcing show-related copy and images in the context of programmes, exterior signage, website and online; assisting with all aspects of the season brochure production (liaising with producers, printers, and designers etc); overseeing the creation of large format Access publications; and providing administrative support to the marketing team overall.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Experience of using all elements of the marketing mix including above and below the line activity, PR, Communications, Database Marketing, Market Research, monitoring and evaluation.

- Experience of working under pressure, prioritising projects/work to meet tight deadlines, multi-tasking as appropriate.

- Strong proof reading skills and attention to detail.

- A wide and varied interest in the Arts, including a good working knowledge of classical & contemporary music, comedy, drama, opera, musicals and dance.
