The Robin Hood Festival returns Monday 3 to Sunday 9 August at Sherwood Forest Country Park. It has the usual jousting tournaments, story tellers, comedy acts and of course, Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham as they clash once more in the home of our outlaw!

Marie Curie Walk to Remember at Wollaton Park on August 22

Take an evening stroll with your family and friends at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham this summer to remember someone close to you or simply raise money for Marie Curie to help us care for more people living with a terminal illness.

The Robin Hood Statue makes a friend!   All this week, a team from Nottingham Trent University will be working around the Robin Hood statue outside Nottingham Castle. They'll be making a cast of the statue so that a twin can be made which will travel across the world to China in Nottingham's twin city of Ningbo.   >>Find out more about the NEW statue here
