The final stage of testing for Nottingham’s new expanded tram network will get under way tomorrow (Friday, 31 July).
Following the opening of the new Nottingham Station tram stop, NET is to start full timetable tests with trams running from every seven minutes on both of the new lines to Clifton and Toton.
At the latest One Nottingham meeting Jane Todd was appointed as the new chair of the One Nottingham Board. Jane will take over the role from Councillor David Mellen, who has held the position for almost five years.
Nottingham City Council has secured £5m of Government money to improve the energy efficiency of over 1300 homes, ahead of the funding stream being turned off.

The Dreaming House is a temporary exhibition at Newstead Abbey that pays homage to the Abbey’s history as the ancestral home of Lord Byron, where many of the personal items that belonged to the great Romantic poet are displayed. The exhibition runs 18 July – 27 September 2015.
