Parade and FREE fun day at Nottingham Castle: Saturday 4 July

See the horse and carriage parade from the Council House to the Castle, followed by a brilliant day of FREE entry and activities at Nottingham Castle! Activities include have a go at archery, Robin Hood plays, giant lawn games and the Mayor-Making ceremony as the new Lord Mayor Cllr Morris is sworn in.

The Grand Tour kicks off! From 4 July

See the treasures of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire through the eyes of today's leading artists, at galleries across the counties, including Nottingham Contemporary.

This exciting exhibition is a chance to see wonderful artworks from Chatsworth House, collected during a 'Grand Tour' in the 18th Century, for FREE at Nottingham Contemporary.

A partnership of Nottingham Contemporary, Chatsworth, Derby Museums and The Harley Gallery, together with Experience Nottinghamshire and Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, have created a compelling cultural adventure that is a Grand Tour for our own times. It offers a chance to see great houses, extraordinary art collections and romantic landscapes, interpreted anew by some of today’s most exciting contemporary artists.
