5 permanent part-time positions – 25hrs, 18hrs, 17hrs, 13.5 hrs and 11 hrs per week Hours are a mixture of early mornings, evenings and weekends To provide a high standard of cleanliness and a safe facility for customers to participate in appropriate activity or sport. Providing high levels of customer service maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Setting up and breaking down Sports Equipment. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. To undertake cleaning in all areas of the facility maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility at all times. 2. To maintain customer service facilities such as litter bins, toilet roll dispensers and nappy changing areas keep these areas to the highest possible standards. 3.To check, set up, take down and store equipment safely as necessary within guidelines. 4.To record cleaning undertaken on appropriate forms and checklists. Making the difference to every person, be it with a warm welcome to the facility or by helping them to take part in sport and activity supporting them on their way to a healthier lifestyle. Answering phones, providing information, handling transactions, managing access, responding to sales queries, converting them to sales & dealing with complaints in a reception and sales setting in a professional and courteous manner. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: - To support the facility in working towards set targets on income, usage, sales and customer satisfaction - Excellent communication skills being able to sell products to customers on the phone, via social media, email or by touring the facility. - To complete administrative duties within all parts of the role including prospecting of potential customers and sales. Including administration of leagues, tournaments, waiting lists and course enrolments. Job Summary: Have a key responsibility for the safety of customers in the swimming pools and its surrounding areas. Providing excellent customer service through professional standards being followed at all times. To provide a high standard of cleanliness and a safe facility for customers to enjoy/play the appropriate activity or sport. Responsible for setting up breaking down and storing correctly equipment as required to set guidelines and health and safety standards. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Hold an current and up to date National pool lifeguard qualification - Maintaining a safe pool environment through excellent lifeguarding practices. - Act as first point of contact for visitors/customers answering queries in a polite and professional manner. Delivering excellent customer service. - Prepare activity areas as required, ensuring all equipment is set up safely and following health and safety guidelines and facility instructions This post is the subject to a DBS enchanced check for regulated activity.
