JOB SUMMARY: This is an exciting role, at the centre of the Council's transformation journey from 'Good to Great' to place Citizens at the Heart of all we do. The role will support the organisation in moving from ‘Good to Great’ by providing advice to our Corporate Leadership team on the governance and management of our wide ranging Transformation Portfolio. The post holder will also be responsible for communicating key messages across the organisation, creating and maintaining an effective network of Programme Managers and also providing advice and support to our Programme Managers. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: The key elements that the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate are: 1. A good understanding of benefits management and the ability to map and monitor the realisation of benefits against the Council’s transformation journey 2. Experience and knowledge of managing Projects and the ability to support those that are at risk of not delivering 3. Knowledge and experience of applying Programme and Project management disciplines 4.
