Ensure quality assurance. Improve outcomes for children in care. Ensure all children's wishes and feelings are taken into consideration. Scrutinise and challenge to establish if the needs of the children are met. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - Education to degree level in Social Work (DipSW / CQSW / CSS) and GSCC Registration - Significant knowledge and understanding of the legislation, statutory guidance, policy and procedural framework which informs child care, safeguarding and child protection practice across all agencies. - Experience and ability to chair inter-agency meetings in order to gather information, identify risks and progress the management of individual cases. - Substantial experience (minimum five years) as a social care manager with children and families and Independent Reviewing Officer in a multicultural environment. Travel to out of City placements, sometimes nationwide, will be essential. Ability to produce clear written briefs and reports to meet deadlines. 4. Ability to assimilate and analyse complex information and to present it effectively with a wide range of audiences. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Contribute to designing and implementing transformation cycling and road space schemes. 2. Assist with delivery of schemes in Cycling and Roadspace Transformation programme. 3. Liaison with external bodies and stakeholders and citizens. 4. Assist in the future design of place making schemes. This post is fixed term until the 31st of March 2018.
