Tickets for the Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival now on sale!   Tickets for the festival at Nottingham Castle from 7 - 10 October are now on sale. This popular event is celebrating its 40th annviversary, and tickets always sell out very quickly, so get yours now!   As well as a fantastic selection of craft beers, ciders and perries, the festival will feature live music. Armed Forces Weekend A weekend of celebration and remembrance to honour our Armed Forces past and present. Come along to Wollaton Hall on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June 2015 This hugely popular weekend attracts thousands of people every year and is the flagship Armed Forces event for the East Midlands. Bands in the parks

A season of FREE outdoor brass and woodwind concerts in Nottingham’s beautiful parks between June and September 2015.

Most concerts are suitable for the whole family and everyone is welcome - why not bring a picnic and make a day of it? All performances commence at 2pm.

The first performance is Carlton Brass on Sunday 7 June at the Arboretum

Park Garden Trail Visit open gardens and green spaces on Sunday 7 June in The Nottingham Park Estate. Nottingham Tourist Information Centre will start selling all Capital FM arena tickets from early June

Nottingham is one of the UK’s most entrepreneurial cities and the ENTER Festival will be jam-packed. ENTER 2015 takes place now until Sunday 21 June and will see lots of inspiring activities, support and events taking place for and with the city’s enterprising young people.

From making and doing, to setting up businesses and performing, the festival will be full of vibrant, dynamic, challenging and unforgettable experiences and opportunities for young people.

Carrington Street Consultation Events

A bid by Nottingham City Council for Heritage Lottery Funding aims to restore historic buildings on Carrington Street, Arkwright Street and Station Street to their former glory. If the bid is successful, the project will also provide a programme of heritage-inspired activities and training to engage the whole community.

Members of the public are being asked to help shape the ideas for these activities, as well as volunteering and discovering more about the area’s heritage and architectural significance at consultation events, or by completing a questionnaire.

The first drop-in sessions take place on Tuesday 2 June (2-7pm) and Wednesday  3June (8am-2pm) at 38 Carrington Street, next to the Citizens Advice Bureau.
