ESSENTIAL REQIUREMENTS:

You will be a Qualified Social Worker (MA, BA (hons) or BSc (hons) Social Work, DipSW, CQSW, CSS) with HCPC registration, have completed your NQSW year and have significant experience in working in the field of adult safeguarding.

You will be committed to setting citizens at the heart of safeguarding in line with the Making Safeguarding Personal agenda, as well as undertaking in-depth analysis and assessment of risk, preparing high quality reports and presenting them in a formal setting as required.

You will also be able to apply your significant knowledge and practice to guiding, supporting and mentoring other workers across Nottingham City.

Some experience of a supervisory role will be an advantage.

Key to this role will be your proven ability to act as Chair Person in large, complex meetings.

You will be able to coordinate and plan interventions designed to maintain citizen safety and achieve quality improvement in regulated provider services, achieving this by working alongside a diverse range of partner agencies.

This post is the subject to a DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity.
