'Skills & Opportunities' Fund

A new funding opportunity is now available for applications from state funded schools for grants of up to £35,000.

The fund aims to support disadvantaged communities and is for projects aimed at helping people learn new skills, get into work or start a business. The deadline for applications is 22nd May.

Observation, Assessment, Planning and Putting it into Practice!

Delivered as three half day courses by Early Years Support Officer, Trish Ochrombel. This course will support you to deliver effective teaching and learning, looking at observations, assessments and linking into effective planning. Course dates are June 5, 10, and 26, 9.30am - 12.30pm, Nottingham Nursery School and Training Centre. £75 per delegate.

How to be an Effective Manager

Learn Effective systems for supervision, performance management and the continuous professional development for staff with Early Years Support Officer Trish Ochrombel on 8 June, 9.30am - 4.30pm, Castle Cavendish, £60 per delegate.

Responding to Neglect of Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults in the City

8 to 12 June 2015

This event is a series of sessions spread over a week and are open to everyone who works within the Children’s and Vulnerable Adults Workforce in the City of Nottingham (includes Local Authority, Health, Police, Voluntary, Community, Private and Independent Sector).
