Cycle City Ambitions

May 2015 saw the Nottingham Cycle City launch event take place at Nottingham Trent University. At the event a variety of presentations were held from guest speakers including Portfolio Holder for Jobs, Growth and Transport Cllr Nick McDonald and Cycle Champion Cllr Jane Urquhart along with stands of information for the public to browse.

Cycle Live 2015

Cycle Live festival 2015 is coming to Nottingham on the 20th and 21st June!

Whether you're taking part in one of the races or just spectating there's loads for you to get involved in at the Big Wheel's Cycle Village!

The village is open between 10am-5pm on Saturday/Sunday at the Victoria Embankment with lots of free activities for the family.

Workplace Challenge

Businesses in Nottingham are being encouraged to get more active this summer as part of the Big Wheel’s Workplace Challenge!

The Challenge takes place between 29th June and 7th August.

Employees sign up and log walking, running and cycling journeys.

FREEsport 2015

Cycling for All

The next Cycling for All event is down at Queen's Drive Park and Ride on the 21st June 2015.

Ridewise, the Nottingham based cycling charity, carries out the events with the aim of inspiring more people to give cycling a go, no matter what their ability.

Victoria Bus Station renovations complete

Victoria Bus Station has undergone a vast amount of improvement works over the past year including a brand new Travel Centre, improved seating and flooring and new real time info boards.
