Estate Accounts and Scanning...Time for Change

At the end of the last financial year, EAS underwent a market test to compare its services against another government department.

In June 2014 we were given the go ahead to implement a restructure and range of improvements to streamline our work and improve our targets for the benefit of our customers.

The visible changes to you as our customers will be an update to ISCIS Online, a single point of contact service approach and a reduced turn around time for our payments processing.

This will begin on 20 February 2015 and will be completed in the new financial year.

The New Look ISCIS Online

ISCIS online

We are currently testing an update to ISCIS online.  As well as a face lift, we have added some extras for you.  When the new version goes live which is planned for March/April 2015 you will be able to extract your case statement in a CSV format and extract a bulk report of interest information.  All the current functions will still be available too.  We hope this will allow you to use the data more efficiently with your systems.

If you don’t have ISCIS on-line it is easy to get set up. Please give us a call and we will be happy to get you started.

We will send a ‘Quick reference’ guide of how the new options work nearer the go-live date.  There maybe a short loss of service at this time but this should only be overnight.

Change of Post Office Box Number

Our new PO Box address is:

Estate Accounts and Scanning

PO Box 16652 Birmingham B2 2HR

Don’t worry, our old address this will still be active, but if you could take steps to change your records that would be really helpful.

Changes to Our Payment Targets from 1 April 2015

Our current target to get cheque payments despatched back to you is four working days.

From 1 April 2015 we will be changing this target to ‘ISA Payments Requisitioned in two working days’.

Your IT Providers

We would like to start networking with your IT providers to see if we can work together when looking to make future improvements.

We would be really grateful if any of you could get in touch to advise us of a suitable set of contact details.

EAS Single Point of Contact from 23 February 2015

In the past you will have contacted us on a multitude of e-mail addresses and numbers but from 23 February 2015 you can simply e-mail or call EAS Customer Services for any queries:

CustomerServices.EAS@Insolvency.gsi.gov.uk

Telephone - 0121 698 4268

We will be taking steps to amend any differing e-mail addresses shown on Gov.uk and ISCIS On-line as near to 20 February as we can.  Until these have been updated we will still monitor the usual EAIPS.OnlineSupport and EAIPS.EA.Enquiries inboxes.  All unmonitored e-mail addresses will be set with an out of office requesting the sender re-submit their e-mail to the new single point of contact address.

The new look structure on EAS is shown below.

Naming Conventions

In order to the support using one e-mail address we have devised a best practice naming convention with regard to the e-mail subject field.

We would be grateful if when submitting queries to CustomerServices.EAS@Insolvency.gsi.gov.uk you could use these subject headings to assist us in prioritising your query. We have included a brief explanation of what tasks we undertake underpin the heading.  The bold text signifies the e-mail subject. We appreciate that it is not an exhaustive list and will not always be able to be applied.
