IMPORTANT: Compliance regarding Information on School Websites

Nick Gibb MP, Minister of State for School Reform, has recently written to all Local Authorities raising concerns about the number of maintained schools that may not be complying fully with the requirements of the school information regulations.  Maintained schools are required to publish detailed information on their websites concerning, amongst other things, the school curriculum, use of the pupil premium, performance data, and certain school policies including the behaviour policy.  Read More>>

Note: whilst this letter is addressed to the LA in respect of maintained schools, if you are an academy or free school you need to check your funding agreement to find out what you should publish on your website.

‘Our children, their future’ aims to promote debate on six key questions about young children’s education, in the belief that many widely-held assumptions have led to a lack of ambition about what they can achieve. This paper presents issues from research to inform debate on the fifth question:

Who should decide what, and how, young children learn?

Read more and submit your answer to this fifth question here.
