The last 18 months have seen an incredible amount of change to the schools system. From curriculum to assessment, meals to SEN there have been a raft of new initiatives, all with a distinct theme - it is down to schools to create and deliver the system. Schools have a number of new found freedoms. This conference aims to explore these in more depth, allowing delegates the opportunity to explore their thinking, develop their own schools or just reflect on current good practice.

Our exciting mix of speakers this year will allow us to consider the demands of the new curriculum, potential of the Pupil Premium, understanding Ofsted as well developing ourselves as leaders. Keynote Speakers include Jim Lawless on Day 1, and Professor Mick Waters and Sir John Dunford on Day 2.

Secondary Transfer - September 2015
The School Admissions Team have advised that due to the removal of the Schools Courier service, it would not be timely or cost effective to send the year 6 UID letters via Primary schools. We have negotiated a bulk post rate and will dispatch letters direct to parents. The co-operation of Primary Schools is very much appreciated in this area, particularly to advise the Admissions Team of year 6 new arrivals and, later in the process, to chase missing applications. Schools will be sent an email at the start of term which includes a link to the pdf of the Next Step and advice on the process and timescales. Karen Howes – Admissions Manager
