We hope all our Members have been enjoying the fantastic weather we have been having lately! The sunshine certainly makes a nice change from the past few summers of rain.
Since our last edition we’ve seen the creation of Devon & Somerset Trading Standards Service, a new joint service commissioned by Devon and Somerset County Councils, which coincided with the launch of BWC in Somerset.
We’re disappointed to confirm that our talks with Which? have not progressed but we are busy working on other projects. Read on to find out about our plans for an amended logo which emphasises that you are Trading Standards Approved, online customer feedback and revised membership Terms and Conditions.
You’ll also find reports on a number of firsts including our inaugural Members Forum meeting, the initial networking events and our plans for a hard copy members' directory. Finally, for the budding actors among you there is an opportunity to be involved in a short film!
