Devon and Somerset bid for more powers to boost prosperity Council chiefs and business leaders have agreed to submit a prospectus to Government that would result in
higher productivity and better-paid jobs, improved road, rail and
broadband links and more homes for the region’s growing population.

Changes
to how you call North Devon Council internally Today (Friday
29 January), North Devon Council (NDC) will be removing the last of their
telephone equipment from Barnstaple Civic Centre. This means that you
will no longer be able to call NDC extensions using the ‘708’ short dial
prefix. Please note that you will therefore need to change any ‘speed dials’
that currently use ‘708’. NDC staff will also no longer be able to call
our extensions internally.
To call
NDC extensions from 5.00pm today, you will need to
dial the full number by prefixing it with 9 01271
