 Notice of DAPH Annual General Meeting
Wednesday 1st July 2015 - Tiverton Hotel
Dear Members
On behalf of the DAPH Executive Committee, we would like to invite you to attend the DAPH Annual General Meeting, which will be taking place within the DAPH Summer Briefing at Tiverton Hotel, on Wednesday 1st July 2015. The AGM formalities will form part of an overall review of work undertaken by DAPH during 2014/15 to include a group discussion during the session around current and ongoing priorities for headteachers.
We are proposing minor changes to the DAPH Constitution. DAPH is required to advertise proposed amendments to the constitution, which are available to View Here. It is proposed that these changes be adopted at the Annual General Meeting.
DAPH Executive Committee - 6 vacancies: LA Maintained and/or Academy Primary Schools (Headteachers/Heads of Teaching and Learning)
We are now inviting nominations to fill the above vacancies on the DAPH Executive Committee from 1st September 2015. Applications are welcome from both LA Maintained and Academy Schools for the respective positions advertised above and we would recommend any nomination is discussed with and carries the full support of the Governing Body of your school.
All nominations should be submitted on the Nomination Form to be received no later than noon on Monday 29th June 2015.
All nominations to join the DAPH Executive Committee will be considered at the Annual General Meeting. In the event that the number of nominations received exceeds the number of respective vacancies then a ballot will take place with all members present at the AGM able to vote.
We very much hope that you will be able to join us on 1st July but in any event we will advise all member schools of the outcome of this process before the end of this term. If you have already booked your place at the DAPH Summer Briefing, there is no need to confirm your attendance at the AGM.
