Overview
Coventry City Council are working with service design agency, FutureGov to learn how we can improve on the Let’s Rent Coventry scheme information and application process. Let’s Rent Coventry is a new rent guarantee scheme, launched on 18 May 2020, in collaboration with private landlords across the city. It matches people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, with landlords who have properties to let.
What you can help with
We’re looking to speak to a mix of landlords to better understand challenges and needs in respect to the scheme. We want to involve you in our design process early so that you can help feed into what we do.
During our conversation we will look at:
- understanding your needs as a landlord
- Impressions and expectations of the scheme and new ideas we have
- What has worked well and what hasn’t
- Ideas for how you can be better supported, informed and the application
- process.
The finer details
- Interviews will take place at the beginning of March
- We’ll invite you to a video call of up to 1 hour using Microsoft Teams at a time that suits you
- You’ll meet two researchers - one person will ask questions, and one will take notes
- Everything you say will be anonymous and won’t be linked to your name
- With your consent we may also do an audio recording of the session
